During his long career, Derek has always been interested in pensions and retirement planning. After advising for many years, he now gets enjoyment out of sharing knowledge and experience helping other advisers.
Outside of work…
Derek lives with his wife Sue and Alfie the Golden Retriever.
In his spare time, he is a passionate supporter of Everton FC. Where he used to enjoy running and cycling, he now enjoys walking a lot with the dog.
When asked about his favourite food, Derek answered: ‘That’s easy, Italian….and Chinese. Oh! Indian too’.
