Why is the brand changing?

MHW had its roots in Bolton as the company was originally founded in the suburb of Markland Hill. Whilst we’ll always have fond memories and strong links to this area, the company now has national coverage and the significance of this name has diminished over time.
MHW is a trading style of Beyond Advice Group Ltd., which is the official name of our firm and therefore the decision has been made to run one sole brand under our official title to avoid confusion and save on duplication.

What exactly is changing?

Along with the fact the company will be known as Beyond Advice Group going forward, we’ll also have a new group website (www.beyondadvice.co.uk) which will hold relevant content to our clients and advisers alike.
Our email addresses will change over to our new name too, but don’t worry, all emails will be forwarded from the @mhwifa.co.uk addresses so nothing will be lost.

Is the company ownership or structure changing?

No. The rebranding exercise isn’t linked to a change in ownership, although our national expansion continues to gain momentum, meaning our strength and sustainability grows, providing long-term peace of mind for our clients.

Will products or services change?

No. We are independent financial planners and intend to remain so.

Do I need to take any action?

No. Everything is being taken care of in the background and your agreement to partner with us remains unchanged.

What happens to my existing holdings?

They remain in place. We’ll inform all providers of our name change and they will action behind the scenes without any disruption to any policy administration.

Will contact details change?

Yes. We’ll have new email addresses which will be provided to you. Address and phone numbers will stay the same.

When will the change take effect?

You’ll start seeing significant brand changes imminently, although there is work going on continually to make the transition as smooth as possible. The aim is that all references to MHW will be phased out by the end of 2026.

Why should I trust this change?

As the company name is already Beyond Advice Group Ltd., and MHW is just a trading style, the change and disruption will be minimal. Our vision and commitment to independent advice where clients are our priority is consistent and unchanged.
